It's been some time
Since I last saw you
Since I last took time
To think things through
And though I think
I've done okay
I'm crowded out
With nothing to say
I want to spill
My over-active mind
But these days I
Can't find the time
To get it out
And put it down
I think my thoughts
Have started to drown
Thank 'god' they
Taught me CPR
'Cause without I doubt
My life would get far
I need to revive
The person I miss
She somewhere inside
Behind all of this
I can't say I'm sad
More a jumbled up mess
Too busy with books
And not failing tests
They say that I'll like it
Someday I'll see
My time spent was worth
Crazy amounts of money
But in the mean time
I'm missing my life
I'm missing the people
And a word that rhymes with life ;)
